Trowers & Hamlins is seeking a Statutory Agreements (Planning & Environmental) Manager to join their Planning and Environmental department in London. The role focuses on quality control and specialist support, specifically managing the review, verification, and compliance of complex infrastructure agreements.

• Proven experience in team management, supervision of transactional casework, and staff development.
• Demonstrable experience in handling statutory agreements.
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage files while maintaining commercial awareness.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Oversee and manage the Statutory Agreement team.
• Manage high volumes of highway and infrastructure agreements (e.g., Section 278, S38 Highways Act, S104 Water Industry Act, Deeds of Easement).
• Ensure legal accuracy, coherence, and compliance with current legislation and internal policies.
• Supervise junior team members and maintain accurate file management in compliance with Lexcel procedures.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships.
