Legal Counsel at UNS

This full-time, hybrid role involves providing practical, business-oriented legal advice, managing contract lifecycles, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Experience: 2-4 years in a Legal Counsel or paralegal role, preferably in a corporate or international environment.
• Skills: Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts; strong understanding of legal terminology; excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage the full contract lifecycle (drafting, reviewing, negotiating) and maintain the contract database.
• Identify legal and contractual risks and provide business-minded recommendations.
• Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Support compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Legal Counsel and Global General Counsel.
• Support cross-border legal matters given UNS's international footprint.
