Legal Counsel at UNS
UNS, a globally recognized architecture and design firm, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their legal team in Amsterdam. This full-time, hybrid role involves providing practical, business-oriented legal advice, managing contract lifecycles, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Experience: 2-4 years in a Legal Counsel or paralegal role, preferably in a corporate or international environment.
- Skills: Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts; strong understanding of legal terminology; excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage the full contract lifecycle (drafting, reviewing, negotiating) and maintain the contract database.
- Identify legal and contractual risks and provide business-minded recommendations.
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Legal Counsel and Global General Counsel.
