Contextual Overview

Verizon is seeking a qualified professional for the Spec-Contract Management position in Serilingampalli, Telangana, India. This hybrid role involves supporting the Sourcing team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts in close collaboration with the Legal team.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized university. (Master of Laws/LL.M. or professional certifications like CPCM/CCCM are a plus).
• Experience: 5+ years of Legal or Contract Management experience covering the end-to-end contract lifecycle.
• Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of legal terminology, contract research, advisory support, and proficiency in AI tools (e.g., Harvey, NotebookLM, Gemini).

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, redline, and negotiate global and regional supplier contracts within stipulated SLAs.
• Manage highly critical transactions including Master Agreements, Amendments, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Termination Notices.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and develop risk mitigation analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Sourcing, and Legal stakeholders to deliver customer-centric contracting solutions.
• Leverage AI technologies and legal tech platforms to streamline drafting and contract lifecycles.
