Contextual Overview

Viva Composite Panel is hiring a Legal Compliance Manager based in Vapi, Gujarat. This role is responsible for ensuring factory-wide compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements, managing government relations, and overseeing legal risk management for manufacturing operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Mid-Senior level professional experience.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Legal Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes, maintain compliance calendars, and conduct periodic audits.
• Factory & Industrial Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Factories Act, Labour Laws, and Environmental Regulations; manage license renewals and government inspections.
• Liaisoning: Represent the organization before the Pollution Control Board, Labour Department, Fire Department, and other local authorities.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and vet MOUs, vendor contracts, and lease agreements.
• Risk Management: Identify legal risks and provide guidance to internal departments including HR, Finance, and Production.
