Voith Group is seeking a Legal Counsel based in Suzhou, China, to provide comprehensive legal support to its operations in China and the broader APAC region. This role focuses on corporate governance, contract negotiation, compliance, and managing external legal counsel.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top-tier law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex legal risks.
- Experience in corporate governance, compliance programs, or internal investigations is highly preferred.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and strategic support to Voith Group entities in China and APAC.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and external legal counsel.
- Oversee corporate governance, including entity registration and deregistration.
- Conduct compliance training and participate in internal investigations.
- Provide legal guidance on employment-related matters.
Stipend & Compensation
Monthly Salary: ¥25,000 - ¥40,000 (based on skills and experience).
