Associate/Attorney – Trademark Associate

Watts & Associates Recruitment is hiring a mid‑level Trademark Associate to work remotely from Washington, DC for a Chambers‑ranked international IP firm.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• JD or LLM degree
• Bar admission in resident state
• At least 3 years of trademark clearance and prosecution experience
• Experience managing US and international trademark portfolios
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written & spoken)
• Ability to handle a high‑volume docket

Responsibilities

• Lead complex US and international trademark clearance projects
• Manage domestic and global prosecution, including filings and office action responses
• Provide day‑to‑day counsel on brand selection, risk assessment, and portfolio optimization
• Coordinate with foreign counsel and internal teams on multi‑jurisdictional matters
• Collaborate directly with partners while taking substantive responsibility for a high volume docket

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $250,000 – $320,000 per year (paid). Performance‑based bonus opportunity. Comprehensive benefits typical of leading US firms. Remote working arrangement within the United States.
