William James Recruitment is seeking a Senior Associate Housing Litigation Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a leading UK law firm in Manchester. The role focuses on social housing law and housing management litigation, representing Registered Providers, housing associations, and local authorities.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Proven expertise in housing litigation and social housing law.
• Experience acting for Registered Providers, local authorities, or private sector clients.
• Ability to manage complex caseloads with minimal supervision.
• Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Manage complex housing litigation matters including anti-social behaviour, possession proceedings, and housing disrepair claims.
• Handle injunctions, committal proceedings, and property condition disputes.
• Provide strategic, commercially focused advice to public sector clients.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development and client relationship management.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Compensation: Up to £90,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.
