Legal Counsel, Global Firm

Contextual Overview

Wilson is inviting applications for a Legal Counsel position based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Global General Counsel. The role provides practical, business-focused legal advice across commercial and corporate matters within a dynamic international environment.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified lawyer with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or multinational corporation.
• Strong generalist commercial legal background with proven contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, engineering, energy, or related sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on commercial agreements (supply, distribution, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, services, confidentiality, and licensing).
• Provide strategic legal support to business units and partner with internal stakeholders on business initiatives and commercial transactions.
• Advise on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Assist in managing disputes, claims, litigation, and external counsel.
• Support M&A, corporate restructuring, and integration projects as required.
